Forthcoming Services & Events A message from Canon Paul Miller: The main boiler which heats the Church and Hall has died and we are organising a replacement boiler. The progress has become complicated as the need to remove some asbestos from the boiler room has arisen and this will delay the work. We are doing our best to restore heat as soon as possible and we apologise for the inconvenience to worshippers and hall users in what is a very cold period of weather. Church services will continue with the smaller services taking place in the Chapel which is heated separately. The services in the Main Church will continue albeit shorter than usual !! Those who wish to sit in the heated Chapel during the services taking place in the Church may do so and listen to the service via a speaker. The Pre School will meet in the Scout Hut. Any further information maybe obtained by ringing the Parish Office ( 02084605682) during weekday mornings where Rachel and Emma will be pleased to help you. This is a challenging time for us and the replacement programme will be costly. However I am confident the people of Shortlands will rally round to ensure that we are back to normal in the not too distant future. I will post more information about how you can help shortly.
